Catholic Church leader says society is facing "crisis" (31 Oct 2002)

The head of the Catholic Church in Hong Kong, Bishop Joseph Zen, speaks of a "crisis" affecting public confidence, resulting from the sluggish economy and proposed new anti-subversion laws. Interviewed for tonight's programme, Bishop Zen also voices fears that the Church in the SAR could fall foul of the planned new national security laws.
