NOISE CONTROL (2 DEC 2013)

Printer-friendlyPrinter-friendly

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you very much for your suggestion. Library staff and Library Service Ambassadors have regular patrol on public areas during the Library opening hours and will remind users to discuss at a reasonable noise level. Signs have been put up for reminding users to keep quiet in the Library. However, if you identify any user who is talking too loudly in the public area, please feel free to contact our duty staff at the Circulation Counter, MLLC Counter or Information Commons Helpdesk so that we can take immediate action. On the other hand, for users who require a quiet space, we suggest them to consider to use the seats in the north wing of the building or on the 3/F, or booking an individual room.

Please do let me know if you need further assistance.

Best Regards

Terence Cheung

Assistant Librarian II

Dear library staffs,

I have to say some local students always talk freely and loudly where is not allowed to make noise, which bothers our study. Please pay attention to the condition. Thanks so much.
