  • Library Chat Reference Service (Beta)

    Chat with a librarian on any library-related enquiries! The Library has launched a new Chat Reference Service (Beta) starting from the second semester. At the "Ask A Librarian Service" page, simply connect "Click to chat" to start asking your questions. Our librarian on duty will provide instant reply to your enquiries.

    Service hours: Monday - Friday, 2 - 5pm

  • ILP Library Workshops (2nd Term 2011/12)

    Join our Library Workshops by signing up at: http://www.library.ln.edu.hk/help/classes/

    Staff and students who complete three or more workshops will receive a Certificate issued by the Library. Students can also earn up to 3 ILP Credits!

    Sign up now! The first session will begin on 15 Feb 2012 (Wed).

  • Online Interlibrary Loan Services (ILLiad) Temporarily Unavailable

    Due to service enhancement and server migration, the Online Interlibrary Loan Service (ILLiad) will be temporarily unavailable on the following dates:

    - From 9 a.m. to 12 noon on 18 January (Wed)

    - From 10 p.m. on 26 Jan (Thu) to 10 a.m. on 27 Jan (Fri)

    After the service enhancement on 18 Jan, please use your email user name and password to access the system and no longer need to use and memorize a separate set of ILLiad system user name and password.

  • Temporary Suspension of Library Online Services during Periodic Test from 14 to 15 January 2012

    Due to the temporary suspension of electricity supply for periodic test to all fixed electrical installations in the University, all Library online services will be temporarily unavailable from 10:00pm on 14 January 2012 (Saturday) to 10:00am on 15 January 2012 (Sunday).

  • Temporarily Service Suspension of Library Video on Demand & Local TV Programmes

    Due to server migration, the services of Library Video on Demand and Local TV Programmes will be temporarily suspended from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on 10 January 2012.

  • Prize Winners of LibQUAL+® Library Survey 2011

    The Library conducted the LibQUAL+® Survey from 1 - 30 November 2011. Over 1,000 students and staff of Lingnan University filled out the questionnaire with more than half of the respondents provided written comments. Thank you for your big support. We are now reviewing the survey data. The information will definitely be useful for the future planning of library space, resources and services at Lingnan.
